The great room has been equipped with a king size Murphy bed that folds up into the wall for easy storage and free space in the living room. A second day bed is plush with a Temperpedic mattress and vetted with Ralph Lauren linens and pillows. There are generous storage space in two double wide cupboards and drawers. Large screen TV with 190+ stations including 9 English speaking stations, DVD player, Stereo, and 2GB high speed Internet connection with WiFi capabilities as well as free international calls to the US and US cell phones as well as 90 other countries. The Bathroom has a full bathtub, a wall hung commode and vanity with plenty of light.  Fresh white towels are abundant for your comfort.
The stairwell taking you below to the sub level will immediately strike you with it's restored chiseled stone space.  Enter into the original foundation of the Convent of the Ursulines Nuns from the 16th century. This vaulted 20 sq meter Kitchen is fully equipped to prepare handsome meals for you and your guests, with all the amenities you will need to serve up to six people.  Further back lies the 20 sq meter bonus room which will take you back in time to the original Roman Empire construction. Here you will find what remains of both the Church of St. Jacques, thus the name for this apartment, and the fortification wall bordering the rue St. Jacques built by the Romans in the 5th century (circa 450).  For an experience that crosses over centuries of history the St. Jacques Suite is original in every aspect.
